Job description Urgent Care opportunity in Astoria, OR Location: Astoria, OR - Portland 95m Setting: Community Hospital | Outpatient & Inpatient | Collaborative Team Environment Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position Position Highlights: Full Time, Days; 10hr/shifts No call Seeking a full-time physician associate to join a growing urgent care group on the Oregon north coast Over 12,000 patients annually with seasonal increases during the summer months. Flexible work schedule and reasonable clinical volume allow travel/exploration and personal time. The urgent care clinics manage all age ranges and a standard variety of acute conditions with an emphasis on low risk. Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to: Strong oral and written and interpersonal communication skills. Organizational and problem solving skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and exercise sound clinical and independent judgments in all age groups served. Demonstrated experience in area of clinic practice is required. Excellent written verbal, computer and communication skills are required. Education and/or Experience: PA-C certification from an accredited program. Preferably two or more years of experience. License/Certification: Certified as a Physician Associate for the State of Oregon at the time of hire. State of Oregon Prescriptive privileges. ACLS or BLS required through the American Heart Association. Must be successfully credentialed by the Medical Groups Professional Staff.
