We’re working with a trusted, community-focused group in Massachusetts seeking a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to provide urgent care coverage this fall. This is an outpatient-only role in a supportive and efficient clinic setting, with no inpatient or call responsibilities. The opportunity begins in late October and offers a consistent, rotating schedule.
Job Responsibilities
🩺Evaluate and treat minor illnesses and injuries
🩹 Perform common urgent care procedures such as suturing, wound care, and splinting
💻 Document care using EPIC EMR
👥 Collaborate with nursing, MAs, and another provider on-site
Qualifications
📄Up-to-date DEA and CSR required
⚕️Must have previous urgent care or emergency medicine experience
📝 Board Certified (or eligible) in related specialty (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, etc.)
Working Hours
🗓️ Week 2: Sun (8a–5p), Tues & Wed (8a–7p)
🔁 Alternates accordingly week-to-week
🚫📱 No call responsibilities
Skills
🧑⚕️ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
🗣️ Strong communication and collaboration with clinical staff
💻 Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems
