Acute Care Physician (MD/DO) Opening - Rockland County, NY A federally qualified health center offering comprehensive care in Rockland and Sullivan Counties.   • Join our Acute Care Team as an MD or DO in a high-volume urgent care setting
  • Multiple providers and nurses per shift
  • On-site lab and X-ray with radiologist over-read
  • Multiple specialties on-site for consultation
  • No nightly call
  • Flexible schedule: daytime, one evening per week, Fridays, and weekends
Responsibilities Perform physical exams, assessments, and treatment of acute and sub-acute patients Order and interpret imaging and lab testing Complete accurate and timely documentation Perform procedures such as suturing, I&D, and splinting (preferred but not required) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team Benefits Details $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time MD/DO Competitive salary range: $190,000 $300,000 annually No billing or overhead responsibility FTCA malpractice coverage Full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 403B retirement plan NHSC Loan Repayment and NYS Public Loan Forgiveness eligibility CME and licensure support Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Reimbursement Cards Generous PTO and up to 13 paid holidays Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Active, unrestricted NYS medical license Active NY DEA registration Board certified or board eligible BLS certification Minimum 1 year of independent clinical experience Eligible to work in the US Community Details Easy drive to New York City and airports Scenic villages along the Hudson River Mountain views, parks, hiking and biking trails Prestigious schools and universities Thriving healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and construction industries
