Family Medicine Physician for Urgent Care Medicine - 100% Remote - Earn $280,800 annually

Position: Urgent Care Physician

Location: Tele-health/100% Remote

1099 Model or Sole Proprietor: Full-time and Part-time

Salary: $150/hour plus Malpractice with Tail Coverage

Position Overview

For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Family Physicians for a 100% tele-health position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
  • Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and practice from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
  • Manage up to 4 advanced-level practitioners (FNPs and PAs)
  • Equipment: We offer In-house Point-of-Care testing, X-ray, and EKG.
  • A Board-Certified Radiologist reads all X-rays, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
  • Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute

Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal Family Medicine Residency Training Program
  • CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
  • DEA Certification
  • Medical Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
  • Must reside in the state of California
