  • $250,000-350,000 DOE / Shifts

Position Overview:
Join a 2-year-old, state-of-the-art urgent care clinic offering high patient volume, advanced diagnostic tools, and a collaborative environment. We’re seeking a committed physician to deliver high-quality, efficient care to a diverse patient population.

Clinic Highlights:

  • Onsite: EKG, X-ray (over-read by remote radiologist), and basic labs (strep, flu, RSV, UA, mono, COVID, urine pregnancy, occult blood)

  • Fast turnaround for send-out labs and imaging (2–3 hours for labs, same-day US)

  • Common urgent care procedures required: suturing, I&Ds, ingrown nail removal, foreign body removal

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and non-emergent medical conditions
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs, X-rays (over-read by radiologists), and onsite lab tests
Perform minor procedures such as:
Suturing lacerations
Incision and drainage of abscesses
Ingrown toenail removals
Simple foreign body removals (e.g., ears, skin)
Document all patient encounters accurately and timely using EMR (Velocidoc through Experity)
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless and safe patient experience
Provide patient education on diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care

Maintain a high standard of care in a fast-paced environment (up to 45 patients per 12-hour shift)
Adhere to clinic protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and quality assurance
Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled (approximately 40–50% of monthly shifts)

Qualifications

MD or DO with completed residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, or Emergency Medicine
ACLS certified
Comfortable interpreting EKGs
Experience preferred, but new grads will be considered
Must be comfortable seeing up to 45 patients per 12-hour shift

Working Hours

Schedule:
14–17 shifts/month
Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Weekends: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
40–50% weekend coverage expected
