Job Description:
Seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified physician to join a well-established Urgent Care team in Thomasville, GA. The team comprises two physicians and three physician assistants, supported by licensed nurses, radiology technicians, and lab personnel.
Practice Details:
Provide care for minor injuries and illnesses
Perform school and sports physicals
Offer on-site laboratory and x-ray services during all operational hours
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and examinations for patients presenting to the Urgent Care Center and during follow-up visits
- Educating patients and family members
- Counseling patients on preventive health care and treatment plans before discharge
- Prescribing medications as appropriate
- Referring patients as needed
- Maintaining compliance with documentation requirements
