Coverage Needed

• ASAP - Ongoing
• Up to 14 shifts per month
• Available to work in either any Springfield location or Joplin, MO location (proximity 1 hour)
• Can schedule 4 shifts in a row

Schedule

• Centers are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (12 Hour shifts) and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday (8 hour shifts)

Clinical Details

• 5 Beds in department
• 30-50 patients per shift

Requirements

• Residency training and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM) or Med/Peds (this is required they MUST be trained to see both adults and pediatrics. We cannot accept IM residency training or others even if they've been seeing pediatrics
  • must be residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in FP, IM/Peds or ED
  • Board certification must be obtained during appropriate eligibility time frame
• Active MO License or IMLC
• BLS
• Experience with infants-adults
  • MUST be trained to see pediatrics
• Must be comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays
• Covid vaccine
