West Georgia Urgent Care Medical Director Physician Opening

  • Seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine (or) Emergency Medicine Physician
  • Minimum 5 years' Experience in Urgent Care (or) Emergency Medicine
  • Leadership Experience required
  • DOT Certification Preferred
  • Georgia Medical Licensure (or) eligibility
  • Medical Director will provide oversight of (3) Urgent Care locations
  • Role is designed to be 60% clinical and 40% Administrative (administrative will be mostly on site in office)
  • Will require Medical Director 1 weekend per month (Saturday & Sunday) to be in clinic
  • Participate in provider recruitment and orient new providers
  • Review, sign and supervise APP's
  • Provide chart reviews, corrective action, and provider performance reviews
  • Attend medical group provider meetings; facilitate internal staff meeting; effectively communicate clinical updates and procedural changes to all providers
