**Locums Urgent Care Openings in Missouri**
Locations:

**Coverage**
- Start: ASAP
- End: Ongoing
**Position Details**
- Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours only
- EPIC EMR
- Outpatient setting
- Hospital/surgery privileges not required
- Patients per shift: 30-50
- Beds in dept: 5
- Hospital is stroke certified
- Scheduling/Needs:
* Up to 14 shifts per month
* Available to work in either any Springfield location or Joplin, MO location (proximity 1 hour)
* Can schedule 4 shifts in a row
- Centers are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (12-Hour shifts) and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday (8 hour shifts). [Providers will not be granted any overtime]
- Provider must see patients 6 months and up for urgent care needs. Procedures including suturing, wound care, I & Ds, splinting, X-Ray and ECG over read, place IVs.
- Beautiful state of the art centers that include lab and mobile x-ray with access to additional hospital resources.

**Requirements**
- Residency training and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM) or Med/Peds (this is required they MUST be trained to see pediatrics. Cannot accept IM residency training or others even with peds experience.
- Must treat both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages but generally 6 months and up)
- Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays. There is onsite X-ray and EKG.
- Open to additional pay for collaboration with APPs
- Must be willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, rad techs as support staff (no RN/LPN support staff)
- A completed Covid vaccination card is now a required document in order to apply (please email along with CV)
- MO license or IMLC required
- Credentialing time: 90-120 days
