MedCare Staffing is currently seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for Contract work at the Northern Indiana Healthcare System, located in Marion, IN.

Working in a government facility means that ANY State Medical License can be accepted.

The Contractor shall provide Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician Services onsite in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Northern Indiana Healthcare System (NIHCS).The physician designation of MOD delineates the responsibility of a sole provider on duty during the prescribed hours of coverage, to service the Urgent Care department, Community Living Center (CLC), Acute/Chronic Mental Health (MH), Substance Abuse Residential Recovery Treatment Program (SARRTP) services. A contractor providing onsite Urgent Care/ MOD physician services must meet or exceed the American Board of Internal Medicine Physician Guidelines

6 Months - 1 Year with possible extensions

Hours:
4:30pm – 8 am

The contractor’s physician(s)’ care shall cover the range of Urgent Care, Inpatient Mental Health, Continued Living Center, and SAARTP services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art health care treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards. Initial evaluation, Urgent treatment and management of minor wound care, respiratory illness, gastrointestinal illness, burns, musculoskeletal trauma, dermatological illness, ENT, eye and urological problems.

Rate:
Hourly rate plus housing & travel, plus malpractice insurance
