Details of Assignment:

- Need a physician willing to be a collaborating/supervising physician to NPs in the state of Alabama for this client (up to 4-6 NPs)
- No prescribing, clinic duties, formal diagnosing, or call requirements
- Minimum requirements to be a collab MD in Alabama should include:

- Must meet educational requirements set by ABME to enter collaborative agreement

- Must complete required Continuing Education courses

- Maintain direct, continuous, and close supervision of APP

- Physician must be readily available for direct communication, phone, or telecommunication for the APP for consultation.

- Must participate in Quality Assurance Responsibilities (reviewing medical records adverse outcomes, etc)

START: ASAP once credentialed
LENGTH: At least a 6 month commitment with likelihood of extending

Minimum Experience and Certification Required:

- Must have an active, unrestricted AL state license and practicing in AL
- Must LIVE IN ALABAMA
- Highly prefer to have hospice, palliative, or geriatric medicine experience
- Must have experience in primary care
- Must be board certified/eligible in either IM or FM (if eligible, must have proof of board eligibility such as confirmed board exam test date)
