Job description
We are seeking licensed physicians (MDs or DOs) in Illinois with prescriptive authority to recommend medical cannabis. Certified professionals must be registered as an Illinois Medical Cannabis Health Care Professional with the state of Illinois. Additionally, the ideal candidate will periodically participate in our in-person patient drives that we offer with our affiliates.

Compensation: Contract role
$4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth evaluations of patients to determine eligibility for medical marijuana certification.
- Educate patients on the benefits of medical marijuana and discuss alternatives to pharmaceutical treatments.
- Issue certifications for eligible patients through the Illinois Medical Cannabis Health Care Professional portal.
- Answer patient questions and provide guidance on medical marijuana usage.
Qualifications
- Certified professionals must be registered with the Illinois Department of Public Health as a Medical Cannabis Health Care Professional.
- Providers must be able to conduct telehealth evaluations.
- Providers who can do in-person events and evaluations are preferred (this is not a requirement)
