Job description
The New Mexico Department of Health is launching a pilot project to offer primary care services at its SE Heights Public Health Office in Albuquerque. They are seeking one MD/DO (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Preventive Medicine, or General Practice) to:

Provide primary and preventive care (including acute/chronic conditions, mental health, and substance abuse).

Assist in establishing the clinic (protocols, workflows, EMRs).

Support project evaluation and quality improvement efforts.
Details:

Start: ASAP

Duration: 26 weeks to start, with possible extension

Schedule: 2 days/week (preferably Mon & Fri), 8am–5pm with 1-hour lunch

Setting: Outpatient; some remote or mobile clinic work

License: Active NM license required

Experience: 3–5 years; refugee care experience preferred

Certs: NM Controlled Substance Registration, DEA, CPR/BLS
