TALLAHASSEE, FL (City's ONLY Private Practice Vascular Surgery Group) - Vascular Surgery Opportunity

Vascular Surgical Associates (VSA) of Tallahassee, Florida, the city’s only private practice vascular surgery group, is seeking to add a highly motivated 4th Vascular Surgeon to their rapidly expanding team. VSA enjoys the benefit of being a private practice within a large community setting and academic facility with minimal specialty competition.

Originally founded over 35 years ago, VSA has maintained its leadership in treating vascular disease with its advancements in technology and treatment plans into the new millennium. Currently, the practice employs 3 board certified vascular surgeons, 5 nurse practitioners and 2 physician assistants to accommodate the high demand for vascular surgery consultations.

The practice also maintains an accredited in-house IAC lab and in-house advanced endovascular suite under a 20,000 sqft newly designed office space. The newest vascular partner will immediately have a hospital and office-based practice from day one of employment due to our critical shortage of physician workforce. VSA performs all of the open and endovascular procedures at our Level 2 Trauma hospital with dedicated hybrid endovascular and OR suites with appointed vascular staff.

Treating conditions include the entire spectrum of vascular disease from complex arterial and venous pathology, hemodialysis, embolization techniques and thoracic outlet.

Opportunity highlights include:
  • Office clinic patients per day: 20-30 with full NP support
  • Practice/ Hospital Call: 1:4- Weekends a month with one night call per week
  • Excellent Payer Mix
  • Serving 1 hospital only – Level 2 Trauma Center (772 Beds)
  • Full Partnership Tract (2 years) with stock options
  • On Site IAC Vascular Lab
  • In house-office based endovascular suite
  • Participation in Wound Healing Center & Hyperbaric Treatment
  • Serve as adjunct general surgery residency faculty with Florida State University College of Medicine
  • Social media and full practice website: www.vsafl.com
With its roots firmly planted in the panhandle of Florida, VSA has proven longstanding stability for over three decades in order to provide the ambitious candidate a life-long practice opportunity.

Tallahassee, Florida
Near, but far, from the well-known destinations of the Sunshine State, Tallahassee offers a distinct culture and community with access to some of the world's greatest beaches. The capital city, Tallahassee is a hub of political activity and home to universities, research institutes and some of Florida's most pristine nature. Often described as "The Other Florida" with its deep-rooted history, rolling hills, mild climate, southern-style hospitality and canopy roads of moss-draped oaks.

Tallahassee is a medium-sized city where the power of state government and a vibrant academic and artistic community are complemented by old-fashioned charm. Tallahassee is located in the central northwest panhandle region of Florida, 30 minutes north of the Gulf of Mexico and 30 minutes south of Thomasville Georgia. This region marks the center of the eight-county “Big-Bend” area.
Tallahassee is a great place to live and a better place to practice!
