Assignment Details Locations: Portsmouth and Suffolk, Virginia Anticipated Start Date: March 1, 2027 Duration: Intermittent coverage; specific holiday, vacation, weekday, and weekend dates are not yet provided Setting: 100% inpatient/hospital-based Day Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM Night Call: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–8:30 AM Weekend Call: Friday at 4:30 PM–Monday at 8:30 AM Additional Coverage: 24-hour call may be required Call Type: Beeper/phone Average Callback: Approximately three hours Patient Volume: Approximately 5–10 patients daily Credentialing: Approximately 3–6 months at both locations Temporary Privileges: Not available Travel: Not covered; local candidates or inclusive arrangements only EMR: Epic ### Requirements Board certified in Vascular Surgery Completed Vascular Surgery fellowship Active Virginia medical license Active DEA registration Standard adult vascular surgery experience Dialysis-access procedures Ability to credential at both locations Prior work history within the health system must be disclosed at submission ### Clinical Details Adult and geriatric inpatient population Approximately 80% geriatric and 20% adult Bread-and-butter vascular surgery Dialysis-access management No teaching or leadership responsibilities No trauma-center responsibilities
