- 24 hour call (7a-7a)
- Dates: Oct 9-11, Oct 23-25, Nov 25-29
- Average worked Callback Hours: 2-3 times in a weekend
- Setting: Inpatient
- Admissions per day: 5-6
- Patients/day: 15-20 includes OP and IP
- Types of cases: work with cardio, bulging veins, leg swelling, etc.
- Required Procedures: Conduct complex open surgeries, such as bypasses or aneurysm repairs. Minimally Invasive Procedures: Perform angioplasty, stenting, and other endovascular repairs.
- Duties: Diagnosis: Identify problems using imaging and physical exams.
- Support Staff: APPs who take first call
- Epic EMR
- Requirements: Board Certification or Board Eligible, TN license, Residency, BLS (AHA), DEA, Clean malpractice/background
- Timeframe: 30-90 days can do emergency privileges
