Job description
We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Surgery - Vascular in Youngstown, Ohio.
Shift: Five days a week including call plus possible weekend
Start Date: Beginning of 2027
Position Details:
- One five consecutive day period per month
- Inpatient/Hospital-Based practice setting
- Reason for coverage: Open FTE
- Average patient volume: 10-15 patients per day
- Trauma Level I facility
Patient Population: 100% Adult and Geriatric
Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
Responsibilities:
- Surgery coverage
- Inpatient coverage
- Emergency Department coverage
- Coverage of inpatient units
Required Procedures:
- Vascular surgery procedures
- Inpatient surgical management
- Emergency vascular surgery coverage
EMR System: EPIC
Days Per Month: One five consecutive day period per month
On-Call/Weekends: Yes; call coverage required with possible weekend coverage
Requirements:
- Board Certification - Vascular - Required
- Active OH License - Preferred
- BLS - Required
- ACLS - Required
- Fellowship Training - Required
- Clean background/no malpractice or license issues, no exceptions - Required
