We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician – Vascular Surgery to join a reputable healthcare facility in Springfield, OH.
Position Details
- Position Type: Locum Tenens

- Shift: 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) with daily inpatient rounding
Position Overview
- Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
- Practice Setting: Inpatient Vascular Surgery
- Responsibilities: Provide daily inpatient rounding, postoperative management of vascular surgery patients, perform emergency vascular surgery as needed, respond to consults and referrals from the Emergency Department and inpatient services, and provide 24-hour call coverage.
- Required Procedures: Emergency vascular surgery, postoperative vascular care, inpatient consultations, vascular surgical management
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff: Physician Assistants provide after-hours call support unless surgeon intervention is required
- Call Requirements: 24-hour in-house and beeper/phone call coverage
Submission Requirements
- Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
- Active Ohio Medical License (required; no exceptions)
- ACLS Certification
- DEA Registration
- Clean malpractice, background, and license history
