Job description
We are seeking a Vascular Surgery physician for a locum tenens position in Oakland, CA. This is a call-coverage opportunity at a Level 1 trauma center with an emphasis on vascular trauma. Please see below for more information.
Level 1 Trauma Center
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Perform vascular and open surgical procedures
Manage adult vascular surgical patients during call coverage
Respond to call-back and admission needs during assigned shifts
Qualifications
Active California medical license
DEA registration
Fluoroscopy certification (required)
ACLS
Working Hours
Weekend: 24-hour beeper call coverage, 7a–7a
Weeknight: beeper call, 5p–7a
Approximately 50% weeknight and 50% weekend coverage each month (around 2 weekends per month and 3 weeknights per week)
Providers must be willing to cover a minimum of 4 shifts per month
