Job description
We are seeking a Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens position in Oakland, CA. This is a specialized beeper call coverage opportunity at a Level 1 trauma center focusing on acute vascular emergency management. The facility utilizes Epic EMR. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform open and minimally invasive vascular surgical procedures
• Provide emergency vascular surgical consultation
• Manage acute vascular emergencies
Qualifications
• State Medical License: California required
• DEA Registration: California DEA required
• Fluoroscopy Certification
• ACLS Certification
Working Hours
• Weekend call: 24-hour coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM Saturday and Sunday)
• Weeknight call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday–Friday)
• Expected frequency: Approximately 2 weekends per month and 3 weeknights per week
• Minimum of 4 shifts required per month
