Locums – York, Pennsylvania | Vascular Surgery (Float Pool) Opportunity
Clinical Role Step into a high-acuity vascular surgery locums opportunity at a Level I trauma center, providing week-long call coverage in a collaborative, well-supported hospital environment. This role is ideal for providers comfortable managing both surgical and consultative vascular cases with consistent weekly coverage needs.
Start Date: May 15, 2026 Assignment Length: Ongoing
Position Highlights:

Week-long call coverage (7 days at a time)

Level I trauma center with high-acuity cases

Strong support with residents onsite

Hybrid OR and advanced procedural capabilities

Consistent monthly coverage (1 week per month ongoing)
Schedule & Coverage

24-hour beeper call coverage

Scheduled coverage blocks:

May 15 (7a) – May 22 (7a)

May 29 (7a) – June 5 (7a)

June 12 (7a) – June 19 (7a)

Ongoing: 1 week per month
Clinical Details & Responsibilities Setting: Hospital (Level I Trauma Center, 500 beds)
Patient population: Adults (18+)
Patient Volume:
-
10–15 consults per week
-
6–10 surgeries per week
Responsibilities Include:
-
Managing vascular surgery call coverage
-
Performing inpatient consults and surgical procedures
-
Collaborating with residents and multidisciplinary teams
-
Managing urgent and emergent vascular cases
Procedures:

Angioplasty
-
Hybrid OR procedures
-
Acute vascular surgical interventions
Support & Technology

Residents onsite for support
-
Advanced surgical capabilities including hybrid OR and APS
Technology:

EMR: Epic
Requirements
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
-
Active Pennsylvania license – required
-
IMLC accepted
-
DEA required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience required
