IMLC Welcome – Midland, Michigan – Locums Vascular Surgery Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible vascular surgeon
• IMLC candidates welcome; will consider those awaiting licensure
• Start: Beginning week of May 11th (includes orientation and proctoring)
• One business day of orientation/EPIC training
• Up to three business days of proctoring (5 required cases)

Schedule & Coverage:

• Monday–Friday clinic in Midland
• Weekend call: 1:3 (occasionally up to 2 weekends per month)
• Includes weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Inpatient rounding
• Outpatient clinic
• Surgical and procedural cases
• Cath lab, IR, hybrid OR, and vascular lab utilization
• Vascular testing reads

Volumes & Case Mix:

• High productivity environment (90th percentile)
• 2025 Volumes:
  • OR Cases: 566
  • Invasive Procedures: 1,323
  • Satellite: 184
  • Minor Cosmetic: 276
  • Testing Reads: 10,195
• Clinic Volume: 5,995 visits annually (shared among 3 surgeons)

Requirements:

• BC/BE in Vascular Surgery
• BLS and ACLS required
• Must have performed at least 50 major vascular procedures in the past 12 months
  • Including at least 7 open aortic cases
• Strong, recent case logs required

Support & Environment:

• 4 APPs onsite (no supervision required)
• EMR: EPIC
• Dictation: Dragon

Credentialing:

• Typically ~30 days
• Expedited based on start date
