The OSF Vascular Surgery group at OSF Cardiovascular Institute seeks to add a Vascular Surgeon to their team in Peoria, Illinois.
- The Vascular Surgeon will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary model with cardiologists, CV surgeons, other specialty surgeons, independent radiologists and other non-employed physicians.
- Call of 1:4 is shared with employed vascular specialists and in conjunction with collaborating practices.
- Opportunity exists to perform a large volume and variety of open and endovascular cases including EVAR, TEVAR, CAS, in state-of-the-art facilities with access to our new hybrid OR suite, Innova IGS Discovery 730.
- You will also have the ability to participate in a large variety of venous cases.
- In addition, we have a high volume non-invasive vascular imaging lab that is IAC certified.

- Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $540,000-$592,000.
- Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
OSF St. Francis Medical Center
- OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center, with 642 beds, is the fourth-largest medical center in Illinois and the ONLY Cardiac Center that performs cardiac transplantation and complex MCS with ECMO (ELSO – Gold) outside Chicago in the state of Illinois.
- We are also currently a 3-star STS program for Iso – CABG. Cardiac surgery and Cardiology are a single service line, thereby enabling a great working relationship with our cardiology colleagues.
- A major teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, it is the area’s only Level I Trauma Center, the highest level designated in trauma care. It serves as the resource hospital for emergency medical services for north-central Illinois. It is home to Children’s Hospital of Illinois and the Illinois Neurological Institute.
Job Responsibilities
Participate in a large variety of venous cases.

Qualifications
• Education: Doctorate
• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
• Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
• Availability to start in summer or fall 2026 is preferred, but physicians requiring a start date later in 2026 or 2027 will be considered.
