Description

A Pennsylvania healthcare system is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for ongoing locum coverage providing 24-hour beeper call. The provider will manage vascular consults, perform surgeries, and support a Level 1 trauma hospital with hybrid OR capabilities.

This opportunity offers predictable one week per month coverage with resident support and procedural volume.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour vascular surgery beeper call coverage
• Perform vascular surgical procedures
• Manage inpatient consults
• Cover Level 1 trauma vascular cases
• Perform angioplasty and hybrid OR procedures
• Collaborate with residents and hospital teams
• Document care using Epic EMR

Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
• Active Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year vascular surgery experience
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Working Hours

24 Hour Beeper Call Coverage

Scheduled Blocks:

• May 15 (7 AM) – May 22 (7 AM)
• May 29 (7 AM) – June 5 (7 AM)
• June 12 (7 AM) – June 19 (7 AM)

Ongoing Coverage:
1 week per month

Workload:
10–15 consults per week
6–10 surgeries per week
Average callback: 6–8 hours per day
