A Pennsylvania healthcare system is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for ongoing weekend 24-hour call coverage. The provider will cover two nearby hospitals with APP first assist support and limited daily callback volume.
This is a consistent weekend-only opportunity with surgical cases including bypass procedures and amputations.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour vascular surgery call coverage
- Perform vascular surgical procedures
- Manage inpatient consults and emergencies
- Perform bypass and amputation procedures
- Collaborate with APP first assist
- Cover two nearby hospital locations
- Document care using Epic EMR
Qualifications
- MD or DO required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
- Active Pennsylvania license required or willingness to obtain
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year experience required
- Vascular surgery procedural experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
Shift Type:
Weekend 24-hour call
Schedule:
Friday 7 AM or 3 PM – Monday 7 AM
Coverage Needed:
Every weekend
Average Callback:
Approximately 2 hours per day
