Position Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Vascular Surgeon for locum tenens coverage in our York, Pennsylvania vascular surgery unit. This opportunity is ideal for surgeons seeking flexible scheduling while providing high-quality care in a supportive hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide vascular surgery care to patients, including consultations, procedures, and post-operative management.
Respond to 24-hour on-call beeper coverage as scheduled.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize Epic electronic medical records for documentation and charting.
Adhere to hospital policies, including infection control and vaccination guidelines.
Schedule:
Coverage includes 24-hour beeper call.
1-week blocks per month, recurring ongoing schedule:
May 15, 7:00 AM – May 22, 7:00 AM
May 29, 7:00 AM – June 5, 7:00 AM
June 12, 7:00 AM – June 19, 7:00 AM
Requirements:
Board Certification or Eligibility in Vascular Surgery.
Active Pennsylvania medical license (or willing to Apply).
DEA registration required.
Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
Ability to work in a hospital setting with potential exposure to trauma cases.
