Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and lead a community-based vascular surgery program.
• Provide advanced vascular surgical care for various conditions including aneurysmal disease and peripheral vascular disease.
• Perform open and endovascular procedures.
• Manage vascular conditions using medical therapy and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain a weekly schedule of 2 clinic days and 3 surgical days.
• Participate in 10 night/weekend call shifts per month.
• Supervise advanced practice providers involved in vascular care delivery.
• Collaborate with cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialties.
• Contribute to program development and future expansion.
• Educate and counsel patients on treatment options and wellness strategies.
• Serve as a preceptor for medical students, residents, and allied health professionals.
• Maintain responsive communication with referring physicians.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
• Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain.
• DEA certification (to be obtained prior to start).
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Recent NPDB Self Query report (within 30 days).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid State License in Ohio.
• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery or Board Eligible status.
• DEA certification, to be secured prior to employment start date.
