๐ Role Overview
As a Vascular Surgeon, you will diagnose and treat disorders of the vascular system, including venous and arterial disease. This role involves advanced surgical procedures, longitudinal patient management, and close collaboration with physicians and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
๐ฅ Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patient histories and conduct preoperative consultations

Diagnose and manage vascular conditions such as DVT, varicose veins, and arterial occlusive disease

Perform vascular surgeries to repair arteries, veins, and vascular trauma

Collaborate with referring physicians on diagnostic testing, care coordination, and follow-ups

Discuss surgical risks, benefits, and alternative treatment options with patients

Provide perioperative education and address patient concerns

Conduct postoperative follow-ups and manage aftercare plans and medications

Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of clinical encounters and procedures

Stay current with advancements and evidence-based practices in vascular surgery

Required:

MD or DO
-
Completion of accredited Vascular Surgery training program

Board Certified in Vascular Surgery

Active and unrestricted state medical license
