A leading 350+ bed regional hospital in Western Kentucky is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This is a hospital-based role designed for a provider looking for a steady monthly rhythm, with the flexibility to transition into a permanent position if the fit is right for both parties.
The Practice Environment
You will be working in a well-equipped facility that prioritizes modern vascular care. The setup is designed for efficiency and high-level intervention:

Advanced Suites: Access to a Siemens Hybrid OR, a Siemens Interventional Radiology suite, and a standard OR.

In-house Services: Full Hemodialysis access available on-site.

The Team: You’ll be supported by a well-trained vascular team and two dedicated surgical technologists.
The Work
The caseload covers a standard mix of adult and geriatric vascular surgery:

Open Procedures: Aneurysm repairs (Abdominal), Arterial bypass, and AV shunts.

Endovascular: Stenting, Femoral Popliteal and Aortofemoral bypass, and reconstruction for Deep Vein Occlusions.

Flexibility: This is an ongoing locum-to-perm opportunity, allowing you to "try out" the facility and community before committing long-term.
Requirements

Board Status: Board Certified (highly preferred) or truly Board Eligible.

Licensure: Active Kentucky medical license (IMLC highly welcomed).

Availability: Ability to cover 7 to 14 days per month on an ongoing basis.
