High-impact locum opportunity for an experienced Vascular Surgeon to provide weekend on-call coverage at a busy Level I trauma hospital. Ideal for board-certified surgeons comfortable managing complex open and endovascular cases with full ancillary support.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide 24-hour on-call vascular surgery coverage (8a–8a)
• Perform open and endovascular vascular procedures
• Manage aneurysms (thoracic, abdominal, peripheral)
• Perform carotid stenting, bypass surgeries, and AV access procedures
• Treat PAD, DVT, gangrene, and lymphedema
• Respond to vascular emergencies and trauma consults
• Document care using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified Vascular Surgeon / FACS – Required
• Active Ohio medical license – Required (no exceptions)
• Active DEA – Required
• BLS & ACLS – Required
• Available for weekend coverage
Working Hours
• 24-hour on-call shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
• Weekend coverage
• Call ratio approximately 50%
