Job description
Locum Vascular Surgeon needed for weekend and night call coverage. Provider will manage adult and geriatric vascular cases, perform open and endovascular procedures, and support a high-volume Level 1 trauma hospital using Epic EMR. Full ancillary staff support provided.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform vascular surgeries such as aneurysm repairs (thoracic, abdominal, peripheral) and vascular access procedures
• Perform endovascular procedures including carotid stenting, bypass surgeries, aortofemoral bypass, deep vein reconstruction, and stenting
• Manage conditions such as PAD, gangrene, and lymphedema
• Handle call backs as needed and cover high-volume hospital cases
• Collaborate with OR team and ancillary staff in 2 operating rooms
Qualifications
• Active Ohio medical license required
• DEA license required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Must be available for scheduled weekend coverage dates
Working Hours
• Weekend call coverage
• Holiday call as needed
• Call ratio approximately 50%
Skills
• Ability to manage high-acuity Level 1 trauma cases
• Strong judgment in emergent vascular care
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to work independently during call coverage
