Locums Opportunity – Vascular Surgeon | Pittsburgh, PA
We’re seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon for a locums assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a hybrid role offering daytime coverage, weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call.

Start Date: ASAP – June 30, 2026 (with option to extend)

Schedule:

Weekdays (M–F): 8a–5p regular coverage

Weeknights: 1:2 call
-
Weekends: 24-hr call (Sat–Sun, rounds + call, includes 4 hrs patient contact)

Call Rotation: 1:2 weekdays + every other weekend
-
Average Census: 10–12 inpatients / 22 office patients
-
Procedures: AAA, CEAs, TECARS, EVARS, fistulas, amputations, peripheral angios/interventions
-
Support Staff: APPs, RNs, MAs
-
EMR: Epic
-
Hospital Beds: 347 (non-trauma)
Requirements
-
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
-
ACLS/BLS
-
Active PA license preferred (IMLC w/ LOQ considered)

Minimum 2 weeks/month commitment
-
Clean malpractice & background for privileging (6–8 weeks for clean files)
