Job description Seeking a Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join a growing vascular surgery team in Michigan. The position includes inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic responsibilities with a large volume of vascular cases. Supported by a reputable group, nurse practitioner, and certified vascular techs, this role offers excellent career growth in a collaborative academic medical environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care across inpatient, outpatient, and clinical settings.
• Perform vascular procedures, with endovascular and vein experience strongly preferred.
• Participate in call rotation (1:4), including nights and weekends.
• Contribute to service line growth in a high-volume practice.
• Collaborate with a team of vascular surgeons, advanced practice providers, and certified vascular techs.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation.
• Support hospital’s academic and community health mission.

Qualifications

• TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery – REQUIRED
• Completion of Fellowship in Vascular Surgery prior to start – REQUIRED
• Michigan Medical License (or eligibility) – REQUIRED
• DEA and CSR/CDS (must be obtained before start) – REQUIRED
• ACLS Certification (or ability to obtain) – REQUIRED
• Current COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED
• Endovascular skills and vein experience – PREFERRED
• Clean malpractice and license history – REQUIRED
• Open to H1B candidates (no J1) – REQUIRED
• No lapsed Board Certifications or secondary concurrent jobs – REQUIRED

Working Hours

Varied schedule including weekdays, on-call, nights, and weekends (Call coverage 1:4)

• Advanced vascular surgery and endovascular techniques
• Vein care and management experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and surgical precision
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• EMR proficiency (EPIC)
