VASCULAR SURGEON OPPORTUNITY Findlay, Ohio Position Overview A growing and supportive community health system in Northwest Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to establish and lead a comprehensive vascular surgery program. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver advanced vascular care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment while shaping the future of vascular services in the region. Key Features Lead the development of a high-quality vascular surgery program Plan to expand the team with an additional surgeon and advanced practice provider by 2027 Strong referral base supporting a wide range of open and endovascular procedures Hybrid OR construction planned for completion by 2027 Multidisciplinary collaboration with cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialties Supportive team environment with experienced staff and administrative backing Schedule includes 2 clinic days and 3 procedural days per week Call coverage includes 10 night/weekend shifts per month Clinical Scope Treatment of abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disease, carotid disease, hemodialysis access, peripheral vascular disease, and limb salvage Management with a full range of interventions including medications, lifestyle changes, and surgical procedures Supervision of advanced practitioners Focus on patient education, prevention, and wellness Ongoing communication with referring physicians Teaching & Mentorship Opportunities Opportunity to teach and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and allied health professionals Involvement in service activities and clinical training Participation in research or academic initiatives (optional) Integrated Cardiovascular Services Cardiac stress testing (Cardiolite, Lexiscan, Dobutamine) EKG and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) Cardiac catheterization and nuclear medicine Vascular testing and diagnostics Cardiac rehabilitation and emergency cardiac care Ideal Candidate Qualifications BC/BE in Vascular Surgery Commitment to clinical excellence, program-building, and patient-centered care Ability to collaborate across specialties and lead a multidisciplinary team Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio Make a Meaningful Impact This is a unique opportunity to lead a vascular surgery program in a vibrant Midwest community, with full practice autonomy, multidisciplinary support, and strong potential for long-term growth and fulfillment.
