Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Community hospital in partnership with academic center
Responsibilities:

Lead and expand a vascular surgery program

Perform open and endovascular procedures

Manage vascular conditions medically and surgically

Educate and counsel patients

Supervise APPs and collaborate across specialties
-
Participate in call coverage (10 night/weekend shifts/month)

Contribute to recruitment and future program development
Required Procedures: -
Abdominal/thoracic aneurysm repair
-
Carotid endarterectomy
-
Hemodialysis access
-
Limb salvage and peripheral vascular procedures
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Vascular APP, PRN vascular surgeon, OSU vascular surgeon (phone support)
Days Per Month: Full-time schedule
On-Call/Weekends: 10 night/weekend shifts/month (no daytime call)
Submission Requirements:

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery – REQUIRED

OH license (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED
