Exciting Opportunity for a Vascular Surgeon in Findlay, Ohio

Join a collaborative and community-focused vascular program in Northwest Ohio! This full-time position offers the chance to lead a team at a facility partnered with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. You'll have the flexibility to shape program growth while providing exceptional patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead a community-based vascular surgery program.
  • Provide advanced vascular surgical care, including treatment for various vascular diseases.
  • Perform both open and endovascular procedures.
  • Manage vascular conditions with medical therapy and non-surgical interventions.
  • Maintain a weekly schedule of 2 clinic days and 3 procedural/surgical days.
  • Take 10 night/weekend call shifts per month, sharing responsibilities with a support team.
  • Supervise advanced practice providers involved in vascular care delivery.
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment with cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialties.
  • Participate in program development, including recruitment and facility expansions.
  • Deliver patient-centered care while promoting wellness and disease prevention.
  • Educate and train medical students, residents, and allied health professionals.
  • Opportunity for program leadership based on experience and interest.
  • Receive a clinical faculty appointment with The Ohio State University.

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
  • Eligibility for an Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • DEA license required before start date.
  • Clean malpractice history.
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Vascular Surgery.
  • Ohio medical license required (must be obtained if not currently licensed).
  • DEA license required prior to start.
