Permanent Position: Vascular Surgeon

Henry Ford Medical Group at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is seeking a Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our esteemed team. Located just 77 miles west of Detroit, our facility is known for its quality, innovation, and the remarkable care we deliver to the Jackson community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Engage in clinical rounds and manage patient care in the clinic.
• Participate in call coverage with a 1:4 rotation among providers, including nights and weekends.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of two vascular surgeons and certified vascular techs.
• Perform endovascular procedures and manage vein-related cases.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and electronic medical records.
• Welcome upcoming 2025 fellowship graduates to apply for rapid placement.

Qualifications:

• TRULY Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
• Fellowship-trained in Vascular Surgery (completion prior to start required).
• Endovascular skills and vein experience are highly preferred.
• Strong commitment to quality patient care and collaboration.
• Must be willing to maintain certification and comply with employment health requirements.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain one.
• ACLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
• DEA certification must be obtained prior to start.
• CSR/CDS certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Current COVID and flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain).
