American Vascular Associates is seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon for our center in Columbus, GA. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established outpatient Office-Based Lab (OBL) focused on delivering cutting-edge vascular and interventional procedures, with a strong focus on PAD treatments, embolizations, dialysis access, superficial and deep venous interventions. We offer a dynamic environment that combines advanced technology and patient-focused care in a physician-driven model. This is a full-time position with some flexibility in days per week and hours per day.
Job Responsibilities
Patient Care: Provide high-quality, patient-focused care in an outpatient Office-Based Lab (OBL) setting.
Practice Building: Engage in practice development, including community outreach and patient education.
Collaborate: Work closely with a network of vascular centers and a supportive corporate structure.
Maintain Licensing and Certification: Ensure compliance with medical licensing and maintain board certification in Vascular Surgery.
Leadership Opportunity: Potential for ownership and leadership within the organization.
Qualifications
• Fellowship training in Vascular surgery required
• Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain
• Preferably 3+ years of interventional/vascular experience, but new graduates with strong fellowship experience will be considered
• Willingness to engage in practice building and community outreach
Working Hours
No Call, No Weekends
Customized compensation plans from $150K to $600K depending on your experience, training, patient scheduling,clinical procedures and job fit.
Skills
Proficient in interventional surgery techniques with minimal diagnostic imaging.
Strong patient-care focus with the ability to provide compassionate, efficient outpatient care.
Excellent communication skills for patient education and community outreach.
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and build positive relationships within a network of vascular centers.
Leadership potential and a proactive approach to practice growth and development.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting.
