MUSC Health – Columbia Medical Center Downtown is seeking a collaborative, innovative and teamwork-focused board certified/eligible fellowship trained Vascular Surgeon to join our nationally ranked heart and vascular practice in vibrant Columbia, South Carolina. The chosen candidate will be a member of MUSC’s Division of Vascular Surgery and will have a collaborative relationship with members of the Division, as well as MUSC’s Department of Surgery.

This year, U.S. News & World Report ranked MUSC Health - Columbia Medical Center Downtown as High Performing in the treatment of Heart Attack and Heart Failure. Additionally, the hospital achieved the #10 spot on the PINCAI list of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals for 2023.

The Columbia practice is part of MUSC Health’s greater Heart & Vascular Center, which provides compassionate care and advanced treatment to patients across South Carolina. MUSC Health Heart & Vascular Center has received the Society of Thoracic Surgeons’ 3-star rating 20 years in a row, is accredited by the Society of Chest Pain Centers, and is a BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina BlueDistinction® Center for Cardiac Care.


Every year, our exceptionally skilled physicians save and transform hundreds of lives. We invite you to join a dedicated team of 22 cardiologists, 2 cardiovascular surgeons, 1 vascular surgeon, and 18 cardiology APPs to provide advanced treatment and personalized care to patients in Columbia, SC, and the surrounding communities.

The group plans to expand to include a total of 3 Vascular Surgeons within the next 2 years.
