A dedicated team of healthcare professionals in Phoenix is urgently seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to join their team. The position is in a non-profit, community-based public hospital system with an integrated healthcare delivery system. The Department is proud to offer a fully accredited ACGME General Surgery Residency Program.

The surgery department is seeking a clinical-based vascular surgeon with responsibilities that include staffing outpatient clinics, performing open vascular surgery, endovascular interventions, and vein ablations. The organization is actively searching for a Vascular Surgeon who is interested in resident education and becoming an integral member of the vascular team. The surgeon will be appointed to the Department of Surgery and will have responsibilities relating to serving as a faculty member, providing inpatient and outpatient services, teaching, and on-call coverage. The Department also hosts a General Surgery and Surgical Podiatry Residency Program and supervises resident rotators in surgery.

Preferred candidates must be board certified/eligible in Vascular Surgery and demonstrate a strong interest in postgraduate education. Previous faculty experience in an academic environment is preferred. Extensive training and experience may satisfy either board requirement.

• Must be a licensed MD or DO
• Must have an Arizona Medical License or be able to obtain one before your start date.
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Strong passion and desire to serve underserved patient populations.
• Strong desire for academic excellence and passing on your knowledge, AKA – Teaching!
• Working with residents will be expected, and a desire to teach and achieve scholarly activities is necessary.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is always a plus but not required.
