Trauma and Surgical Critical Care with The State's Largest Multi-Surgical Group

Work with Residents and Fellows - An Academic Appointment
• Join three board certified surgical critical care surgeons
• Call 1:4 for SICU (not in-house) and 1:5 call for Trauma (in-house) - call will be compensated/stipend
• 15 minute call response time - must live within 15 minutes from the hospital
• Affiliation with a BIG 12 University, excellent resources for Trauma and Critical Sugery
• Level I trauma hospital houses the SICU team
• Affiliated healthcare system supports directorships
• More than 2,300 admits to the trauma service per year
• 16 critical care beds dedicated specifically to trauma care
• Partners have key positions in institutions within the metro
• Managed care penetration is low, excellent reimbursement
