Seeking a Trauma Surgeon to add to our established hospital based practice of 11 General Surgeons. Candidate must be BE/BC in General Surgery and Trauma Fellowship is required. The ED it the busiest in North Carolina, and one of the top 13 busiest in the nation, treats 95k adult and 35k pediatric cases annually. It is designated a Level III Trauma Center. Our providers perform a wide variety of surgery, including minimally invasive procedures for acute and chronic conditions as well as acute care surgery. DaVinci XI on site. This position will be a mix of cases. Strong surgical skills are desired, trauma interest and added qualifications in surgical critical care is highly desirable.
