Tuscaloosa, AL / less than an hour from Birmingham, AL / County Population of 205K. Full Time and Permanent position (no locums). Seeking BE/BC Trauma Surgeon to join a well-established and well-known surgical practice. Recruitment due to growth - increasing the number of physicians in group to four. Practice focuses on trauma call and surgery, trauma/critical care intensive care unit (TSICU) coverage and some general surgery. At this time, these physicians will not see all the patients in the 16-bed TSICU. However, it is their intention to move to the closed TSICU model. Employed position with excellent benefits.
