HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to join its established Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team at the only Level II Trauma Center in Clay County.
Position Highlights
- Full-time schedule with 14 shifts per month
- 12-hour in-house trauma coverage plus backup call (rarely called in)
- Supported by 24/7 APP coverage
- Work alongside General Surgery and Emergency Medicine residents
- Participation in TQIP and trauma quality initiatives
- Annual trauma volume of 2,000+ patients
- Covers General Surgery call for the hospital
Qualifications
- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care
- Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA
