Seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for locum tenens coverage in Beaumont, TX. This role will provide support for a busy hospital-based orthopedic trauma service. The ideal candidate will have experience managing acute orthopedic injuries.

Responsibilities:

  • Trauma call coverage for orthopedic cases
  • Operative and non-operative fracture management
  • Inpatient rounding and consults
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, ER, and surgical team
  • Provide post-operative care and follow-up

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma required
  • Active Texas Medical License (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license required
  • BLS/ACLS certification required
  • Prior experience in a trauma setting is essential
