Coverage Needed
- March 16, 2026 - June 15, 2026
- Weekday Shifts: 7a-4p
- Weekday Call: 4p-7a
- Weekend Call: 6a-7a
Clinical Detail
- Trauma Level: 1
- Inpatient Critical Care and Trauma Surgeon
- Trauma inpatient: 30-50 (2 attendings cover during the day)
- Trauma activations: 10-20 (blunt 90-95%) in any 24-hour period
- Emergency general surgery consults: None to as many as 8
- Operative cases (emergencies only, e.g., perforated viscous): None to as many as 3
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: Day and nighttime APPs (2 during the day, 1 at night); Residents (PGY3 or PGY4, interns 2 during day or 1 at night)
Requirements
- Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care
- DEA and CSR Required
- Board Certified
- Prefers MA License, but will consider candidates without it
