Freeman's Acute Care Surgery Opportunity

• Seeking to expand our current ACS with an additional surgeon for level II trauma setting
• You will become part of a well-established team of experienced surgeons, including both acute care and elective general surgery specialists. You'll benefit from a collaborative group of colleagues and a dedicated team of midlevel providers who contribute to a dynamic and supportive practice environment
• Responsibilities include rounding on Emergency General Surgery patients, providing surgical consultations on emergency room and hospital patients, and perform urgent/emergent surgeries and procedures.
• Critical Care Fellowship training not required
• Flexible scheduling, with 10 to 14 shifts per month 12-hour shifts on call, 12 hour back-up call
• Call coverage on off days will be provided by rotation of surgeons in the existing group and other ACS Surgeon.
• This is an ACS only position, with no elective surgery responsibilities
• Outpatient clinic once a week for patient follow-up on the weeks you provide day time coverage
• Da Vinci Xi available but not required to use
• ACS does not have to cover vascular cases
• Epic EMR coming soon!
