Job description
Seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for ongoing locums coverage in Washington. This position will include inpatient surgical care, trauma call coverage, and fracture management at a high-acuity trauma facility. Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided. Flexible start date and scheduling options available.
Job Responsibilities
Manage fracture fixation and repair procedures
Perform acute care surgical interventions
Participate in inpatient rounding and consultations
Share in trauma call rotation with other providers
Qualifications
Active Washington medical license or IMLC eligibility
ACLS/BLS certifications
No major malpractice or background issues preferred
Working Hours
24-hour call shifts with post-call day off (schedule to be determined)
Ongoing assignment with flexible shift blocks
Skills
Acute fracture care and fixation
Polytrauma patient management
Effective collaboration with trauma and emergency teams
Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic or similar)
