Locum Trauma Surgeon MD/DO - Fairfield, CA (Bay Area)
24/hr In-House Call (to include 3 hours) Rate + Call back rate + Travel Expenses
**10 days of trauma call per month (if we can find someone to give us close to that amount they would be considered)**
Trauma Surgery
Credentialing: 60 Days
Start: 8/4 or As soon as credentialed
End: 1/10/26
LOA: 5-6 month contract
Work Schedule: 10 days of trauma call per month
Patient Volume: Varies, Level II
Procedures: Trauma/General Surgery
EMR: Cerner
License: CA license
Certification: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program. Completion of Surgical Critical Care Fellowship.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery.
- ACLS
- ATLS
- Current CA License

Trauma Designation: Level II
Provider Support: Collaborative team of Physicians (3 MD/DO'S) and Advanced Practice Professionals
• Are the call shifts in house? Yes, need to be available within 15 minutes
• Are the shifts 12 hours or 24 hours? 24 hour shifts weekdays and 72 hours weekend
• What are the typical procedures? Trauma surgery procedures
• How big is the trauma unit? How many beds? Hospital beds = 130 & 24 ICU beds
• What is the anticipated volume of calls per shift? 15-25 calls
