Trauma Acute Care Surgery Opportunity in Abilene, Texas 180m from Dallas, TX Abilene offers an exceptional quality of life both professionally and personally. We are seeking a BC/BE Trauma Acute Care Surgeon to join the largest regional medical center within a 150-mile radius. Whether you are a practicing physician, an experienced surgeon, or a fellow, we welcome your application. Candidates must be licensed in Texas or eligible for licensure. Position Highlights:
- Full time, permanent
- Compensation: $2,688 per day.
- Schedule: - Full-Time: 14 shifts per month. - Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (starting on Mondays). - 12 hours of primary call and 12 hours of backup call per shift. - Surgeons may cover 7 days consecutively and do not need to remain in-house during backup call hours.
- Responsibilities: - Respond to ED trauma cases. - Perform required surgeries. - Round on in-house patients and handle consults.
